The OSS Fire Rescue Rig is designed to mimic the typical “recognizable” Turnout Coat worn by all Under armour firefighter shirt. I’m sad that this is even necessary but very glad it’s available. They say things like, “For RTF it makes sense.” Well, that’s only partly accurate. Considering I’ve seen more medics shot on “routine” calls than an active shooter. I think it makes more sense to have it all the time rather than be lulled into believing you’ll wear it or have it during an RTF event. Hell, it takes time to get used to wearing it, which is a distraction.
